Configuring Windows ME dialup settings for Free-dialup.net

To begin, click the Windows Start menu, select 'Settings',
select
'Dial-up Networking'. |

Double click the 'Make New Connection' icon. |

A dialogue box will open which will welcome you to
the Network Connection Wizard, click 'next'. |

Type a name for your new connection, such as 'Free
Dialup Connection'. Select your installed modem
from the 'select a device' drop
down menu and click 'next'. |

Type in 0845 123 2000 into the 'Telephone
number' box (leave area code blank) and select 'United
Kingdom' from the 'Country or region' drop
down menu, and click next. |

Click 'Finish'. |

To use your new Nippy Internet connection, double
click the 'Free Dialup Connection' icon. |

Type in your 'username' (free) and your 'password'
(dialup) and select the 'Save password' box and
click 'connect'. You will now be connected to
your Free-dialup.net connection. |
To
use your new Free-dialup.net connection, click the Windows
Start menu, select Settings, select Dial-up Networking
and double click the Free Dialup Connection.
